One-Pot Chili
This chili is warm and comforting, perfect for a chilly winter evening. It's packed with flavor, and the best part is that it all cooks in one pot!
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 can diced tomatoes 1 can red beans, drained and rinsed 1 can dark kidney beans, drained and rinsed 2 tablespoons chili powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder Salt and pepper to taste Shredded cheese and sour cream for topping (optional) Instructions:
In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain any excess fat and set aside. Add the chopped onion and green pepper to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Return the beef to the pot along with all of the other ingredients. Bring to a simmer and cook until heated through, about 15 minutes. Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream on top if desired. I've tried many recipes for brownies over the years, and this is my all-time favorite. I think you'll love it too!
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted 1 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Optional toppings: chocolate chips, nuts, etc. Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients; mix well. Pour batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle with desired toppings if desired. Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely on a wire rack before serving Brownies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days
